Gary - Owner/Construction Phase
Gary Clark is co-owner of Garron Home’s and brings over four decades of experience to the team. Born and raised in Maffra, Gary's roots in the local community run deep. He began his career as an apprentice at K&P McMahon Constructions at 17, where he met his future business partner, Ron Bedggood.
Once permits are issued, clients transition to Gary's expert guidance. He begins with a comprehensive review of all specifications, colour schemes, and the client's vision, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free construction phase. As the primary point of contact for Garron's trades and suppliers, Gary remains accessible to clients throughout the build. His role at Garron fosters open communication, making the client's experience both enjoyable and seamless. Gary's extensive expertise in construction and project management has been crucial in establishing Garron Homes as a trusted name in the Gippsland region. His hands-on approach and unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship guarantee that every project meets the highest standards of excellence.
Ron - Owner/Sales/Design Phase
Ron Bedggood, co-owner of Garron Homes, brings a wealth of experience to the sales, design, and construction requirements to commence your project. With his extensive knowledge of the industry, Ron excels in guiding clients through the entire home-building journey, from initial sales consultations to signing the formal contract. Born locally, Ron's journey in the construction industry began when he moved from Meerlieu to Maffra to start his carpentry apprenticeship.
Together with Gary Clark, Ron established Bedggood & Clark builders in 1980, which has since evolved into the renowned Garron Homes. His commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been a driving force behind the company's success and longevity in the Gippsland region. Ron's expertise ensures that clients receive personalized attention and expert advice from the very beginning of their home-building process.
Ron plays a crucial role in assisting clients with all the documentation necessary to obtain a building permit. For clients who have yet to purchase land, Ron provides valuable advice on key factors to consider before committing to build, such as land orientation, easements & suggestions on achieving the highest energy rating possible. This guidance, combined with his sales expertise, ensures that clients make informed decisions that will benefit their future home construction and overall satisfaction with Garron Homes.
Christian - Owner/Construction Phase
Christian Bedggood, born and raised in Maffra, represents the next generation of Garron Homes. As Ron's son, he carries forward the family legacy while bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the business. His involvement ensures that Garron Homes continues to evolve and meet the changing needs of the community, all while maintaining the core values that have made the company a trusted name for over four decades.
After completing his building apprenticeship, Christian has been involved in approximately 300 builds on the tools, over 80 as a supervisor, and has personally built 3 of his own homes. This This dual perspective gives Christian a distinct advantage, allowing him to approach each project with a comprehensive understanding of both the construction process and client expectations. Christian's expertise is invaluable in the construction phase. His practical knowledge and attention to detail ensure that every Garron Homes project meets the highest standards of quality.
Clarinda - Sales/Colour/Design Phase
With over 15 years of experience in the building industry, Clarinda is a valuable asset to the Garron Homes team. She guides clients through every stage of their home-building journey, from pre-purchase advice on land selection to final design decisions. Her expertise spans sales consultations, personalised home designs, colour scheme selection, and building permit coordination. As a past Garron Homes client herself, Clarinda brings unique insight and empathy to her role. She remains a dedicated point of contact throughout the entire process, ensuring clients feel supported and informed from start to finish. Her comprehensive approach to client care, combined with her extensive knowledge, makes the home-building experience with Garron Homes smooth and enjoyable.
Norm - Estimator
Norm, our skilled estimator, brings over 45 years of experience in the building industry to Garron Homes. He has been an integral part of our team for 20 years, working closely with Gary and Ron to ensure precise material calculations for each project.
With his extensive background in the building and construction industry, Norm's expertise is essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and efficiency that Garron Homes is known for. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that every project is accurately costed and resourced, saving clients both time and money through efficient planning and precise material calculations.
